Meet our Staff

assistant:

Angie Parrott, EFDA

I am very grateful to be working with Dr. Anderson at his private practice here at Bluegrass Dental. I have worked with Dr. Anderson since I graduated from West Central Technical College in 2006. I am a Board Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. I absolutely love dentistry and the opportunity it gives me to work with people on an individual level.
I live in Acworth with my 3 fantastic kids, Kiara, Trey and Emmett. I enjoy being outdoors, attending church, cooking, taking yoga classes and spending quality time with family. I look forward to meeting you and getting all of your oral care needs taken care of.

hygienist:

Kate Knox, RDH BS

I love being a part of the team at Bluegrass Dental! I was inspired to enter the dental profession at a young age through my own positive experiences as a patient. After graduating from Georgia Highlands with my associates in Dental Hygiene in 2009 and then obtaining my Bachelors of Science in 2014, my passion for this profession continues to deepen. I have a wide range of experience in the field, from high end cosmetic and occlusion based dentistry to seven years in a periodontal specialty practice. I am a firm believer in treating my patients as individuals and caring for their unique needs.
I live in Woodstock with my husband, Will, and our two kids, Anna and Sam. My faith and family are really important to me. In our free time, we love outdoor activities including four wheeling off road in our 4runner, reading, and just hanging out. I look forward to meeting you and establishing a trusting and successful long term partnership in caring for your dental needs.

Welcome to Bluegrass Dental! I am the friendly face at the front desk with a depth of knowledge and experience in dentistry that keeps the office running smoothly.  I love to find ways to help people smile and build confidence to share their smile! I am happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits positive. It is important to me that each of you enjoy a feeling of ease and confidence in our office.  I love the positive energy felt by everyone and I really appreciate the attentive care that Dr. Anderson and the team strive to provide to each patient.
I live in Woodstock with my husband, Eric, and our five children.  When we are not at our children’s activities, we love anything outdoors including boating on the lake, camping and just enjoying our family time.  Come on in, I look forward to seeing you all!
